I'm not trying to upset anyone's applecart, I just wonder if I can say that. And I wonder if it makes the idea clearer to Americans who grew up watching Rawhide and Bonanza. Which includes fewer and fewer of us.
By the way, the words "gentle" and "shepherd" don't appear together in my Bible. Gentle goes with the concept of Jesus being the lead working bull, and his heart for us as we take his yoke upon ourselves. Shepherds have to be tough hombres. Don't mess with shepherds.
